The Sunday Showcase: Art Wall

I have not participated in one of  the Sunday Showcases at Stephanie Lynn's in quite awhile!  This is a treat.  I finally completed my art wall in my home office, and it only took……9 months?  It was a tough wall.  It is the first room that you see when you walk into our home and I did not want guests to see all of my clutter and receipts and to do lists.  But it needed to be functional and since it is “My Room”, I wanted it to reflect my personality.  Let’s take a gander.

{1.}The Chevron Print is from a very creative graphic designer, Jones Design Company.

The photo is a picture from the bestie’s recent Beach Wedding.

The tree was made by my talented photographer friend Alison @ A Flamingo in Utrecht and came all the way from the Netherlands!

image{2.} This print “Peacock Garden” was created by a fantastic artist named Wyanne.  This picture I snapped does not even come close to showing its true beauty.  To see a better picture (and more of her work), you can visit Wyanne’s Etsy Page.

{3.} The picture is Little Kid’s three year old portrait and was taken by Melissa at Spoiled Rotten Photography.  I love the background that she used this year!

The “D” and “S” are gold letters that I purchased half off at Hobby Lobby.

I chronicled my Bulletin Board Fail: Here.

It is not your typical art wall, or photo wall, but a mishmash of some of my favorite things and it has served as a great place to organize loose papers and display some of the art that I love.  I know it looks like I only have pictures of my younger daughter here and none of her big brother, but you should see the game room.  It is Big Kid Central!

Thank you for stopping in and Happy Weekend!  If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to drop me a note.  Yoga Gal is a smorgasbord of topics- we talk about everything from music to worthy causes to decorating to fashion and beauty to basset hounds to travel to these small humans who live in my house!  And I am always welcome to new topics!
