Friday, we made the trip home to Tennessee (it will be two years next week since we moved to Alabama, I wonder when I will start automatically calling it home?). It was time for our yearly pool party with the girls. We have been doing this every summer since my friend Angela moved into a home with a pool. This year as soon as we hit the city limits, the sky fell in. So we packed eleven kids in her house and told them to go play until the storm passed. Yeah.
Notice that Little Kid’s Hello Kitty also had her swim suit on for the pool.
Actually, they handled it well, besides sending a representative in every five minutes to ask if they could get in the pool. Finally, it passed over and they were able to jump in.
This little girl looks so much like her mom did when we were kids that it takes my breath away.
Introducing the newest member of Angela’s family: Butterball.
We did miss the ladies who were not able to come in for the day. But as always, it is great to spend time with old friends.
I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend! It is currently storming outside which has me in knots because my mom is on her way down to see Cars 2 with us. I am not as cavalier about storms these days as I used to be.
