Just before Christmas, Big Kid lost one of his top front teeth. He lost another one a few days after the holidays, and that one lone top tooth is barely hanging on.
With his crooked remaining tooth, he bears a striking resemblance to Cletus, the Slack-jawed Yokel:
He has been racking it up from the Tooth Fairy, though.
Funny story: Big Kid’s tooth actually fell out on the car ride back from Tennessee. Fat Dog was with us and lounging in the back of the car. FD is an excellent car rider; you would not know he was back there if it was not for his snoring. And the smell.
We did not hear a peep out of that dog until Big Kid’s mouth began to bleed. Apparently, he smelled the blood and became very agitated! Maybe he is a guard dog after all.
Maybe not.
