Finally, The Party Post.
The big Fourth Birthday Bash happened yesterday and we survived! More importantly, a good time was had by all. Since Last Year’s Party was such a success [excuse the photos in that post, after that party we finally upgraded our camera], we didn’t want to mess with what works and held it at the Little Gym again. Those gals are great. They did everything!
Since Little Kid had a similar party last year, I wanted to changed it up. I admit, I went a little crazy on the decorations. I blame Pinterest! I knew that it would be busy at the party, so I snapped a few pictures at home.
[decorations]
I think that I am going to do a separate party decor post or this entry would go on forever!
[cake]
Once again, Renee at Fields of Gold outdid herself. Remember last year’s Cinderella Glass Slipper Cake? I did not think it was possible to top that cake, but I was wrong. Because look at what she delivered to my house yesterday.
Like last year’s cake, it looked as good as it tasted. Thank you so much Renee, you are a master baker, and a good friend.
[party]
We invited Little Kid’s schoolmates, and everyone had a good time. The Little Gym staff are great about keeping the kids busy with games and activities, while the parents can relax and visit.
[presents]
We decided to not open presents at the party this year. Little Gym parties are only an hour and a half long so we wanted the kids to have as much play time as possible. And Little Kid could take her time opening her gifts at home. Our friends and family were very generous. We are blessed.
I came home and crashed last night. I was whipped! Our living room looks like a pink glitter explosion right now. The Little Kid is in heaven, and I am so happy that we could give her a special fourth birthday to remember.
Happy Birthday, Alexa Leigh!

Looks like a great time! Happy 4th Alexa.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like fun! I hate you couldn't find the candy corn.
