party planning

Have you ever thought that you would save money by doing it yourself?

That doesn’t really work.  By the time I add up all of the supplies that I purchased so I can DIY, it probably cost more.  Little Kid’s birthday party is this weekend, and I have been cutting, pasting, punching (holes, not the Engineer), and whipping myself into a brown and pink frenzy.  I have also stormed the aisles of every craft store in town.  Repeatedly.  I want to know who is hoarding the 3 inch circle punchers!  Is there a huge black market demand for circle punchers that I do not know about?

Back to my regular scheduled blogging soon!

  1. Been there. Done that. Though not with a kids' party. My advice? Decide that a 2-inch or 4-inch punch is going to work just as well and then have a stiff cocktail and punch your little heart out.

Good luck with the party! I'm sure it will be fab regardless of punch dimensions!

And when you have a moment, can you tell me what the lovely wall color in the first picture is? I love it.
