look book | patio chic

I have been behind on comments lately and I am so sorry. I do have a chunk of time scheduled this weekend to devote to everyone who is nice enough to read ts | tb and leave feedback. I even have it notated on my calendar because I am weirdly OCD very organized.

The main reason that I have been out of pocket {besides Big Kid’s FOUR baseball games this week}, is because I had two newspaper articles due this week and once those were submitted, I was working in the yard.  The good news is that all the dead plants are up, planting is almost completed, and all of my beds have a brand new layer of mulch.  The bad news is that yesterday the Little Kid was helping me deadhead my prize Julia Child rosebush and lost her balance and fell in. It. Was. Awful.  Her arm and hands are scratched up but luckily I was there to grab her before she scratched her face.  I think that my scream frightened her more than anything.  My rosebush is now horseshoe-shaped.

The patio spruce up is coming along nicely and we enjoyed several meals al fresco this week.  A little outdoor inspiration for ya~

I went with red accents on our patio for a pop of color, but I am still looking for outdoor lanterns and I love the ice blue in this set.  Pictures of all of my outdoor escapades coming soon!

Have a great weekend!  I am off to dig in the yard a bit, and take a Family Zumba class at the YMCA with the Little Kid.  This is going to be fun!
