One Room Challenge Week Four: Art with Heart | Part One

When setting out to redo the powder bath for the One Room Challenge, I knew that it was the perfect space for a gallery wall. It was already an oblong space with one wall a completely blank canvas -- no window and no fixtures. And I had all of these prints scattered across the house that were just swallowed up by the long walls. Bringing them all together would make so much more of an impact than a random picture in an upstairs hallway corner. While almost all of the prints were from other rooms, I did add two new fabulous prints, one of which I am sharing today.

This is the inspiration for the whole space: bright, bold and a little quirky. Parima Creative Studio's prints are gorgeous, different and affordable. When we moved into our home more than six years ago, I decided that from then on I would try to support independent artists -- no more mass-produced, big box store prints. I love perusing Etsy for new artists and we have found some very unique, very creative works of art.

Next week's art and artist has a sentimental component as she is one of my favorite people in the world. Stay tuned and thanks for dropping by and peeking in on our progress. If you would like to read the previous installations of the One Room Challenge:
