Thoughts on a Throaty Thursday

Reading: I have a rec for you! I. Loved. This. Book.

Synopsis: Richard Troy used to be the hottest actor in London, but the only thing firing up lately is his temper. We all love to love a bad boy, but Richard's antics have made him Enemy Number One, breaking the hearts of fans across the city.

Have the tides turned? Has English rose Lainie Graham made him into a new man?

Sources say the mismatched pair has been spotted at multiple events, arm in arm and hip to hip. From fits of jealousy to longing looks and heated whispers, onlookers are stunned by this blooming romance.

Could the rumors be right? Could this unlikely romance be the real thing? Or are these gifted stage actors playing us all?

I did not expect this book to be so laugh-outloud funny. I adore British humor and the writing here is so charming and well-done. Fantastic book, especially for a debut! I look forward to reading more from Lucy Parker.
Watching: Christmas cartoons. We have finally reached the age where the kids no longer want to watch all of the Christmas shows, but that doesn't mean that I am not in the rec room watching The Grinch and Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas. Although Little and I did watch the Prep and Landing specials last night. Well she did while I wallowed in my malaise (I have a bacterial infection. Not strep, but strep-ish).

Eating: Cough drops. But I only have two left! Someone needs to start a delivery business where they deliver medicine and Diet Dr. Pepper and chicken wings to people at home sick. I would pay very handsomely.

Missing: my work Christmas luncheon and my Rocket ladies. Shout out!

Sending: Good vibes to my gal pal Mary who underwent surgery this week. As soon as I am back up and running, we will have you two snowmen pumpkins, Friend. To Pinterest, I go!
