Thoughts for Thursday

Smelling: Next time you are in an establishment that sells Yankee Candles, smell this --
Scent is very personal and like wine, I am pitiful at describing it but I am really loving this candle. If I had to describe it (and I am blogging about it so I guess that would be the case) I would say that it was inviting and clean.

Celebrating: Little and Grandaddy's birthdays!
Watching: Rocky Hound! While Little Kid was over at Rocky's boy W's birthday party (which was a dance party -- best theme ever), Rocky stayed with us. W. and Little Kid are only a week apart in age and they are pretty tight. Rocky and Fletcher are also pretty tight, spending the evening running in circles, wrestling in the backyard and taking flying leaps off our ottoman.
Loving: So this is not a surprise but I really love my new car. The slacker picture is for my mom who requested more photos, but it was cold today. So I just stuck my head out of the door and snapped this one. Here ya go, Mom!
Wearing: I have been a devotee of the wristlet since having kids. My sister gave me a Coach wristlet several years ago and I literally wore it out until the zipper busted last week. Most wristlets are designed for the smaller-styled phone, but if you have a larger phone like the iPhone 6 Plus or one of its contemporaries, it can be hard to find a wristlet that is large enough. That is why I am digging the Fulton, by Michael Kors. It's big, I admit. It could be considered a clutch, but I hung it off the elliptical at the gym and it was not unwieldy at all. I have a 6 Plus, so the photo gives you an idea of its size. I found mine on Amazon (thank you Grandaddy and Grammy for the gift card!) which has them in a variety of colors.
Those are my thoughts of the day. Nothing too deep but that might also be because I turned in a 3,700 word behemoth of an article yesterday and I think that my brain has liquified.

Happy Thursday!
